On December 19, 2025, the pre-defense for doctoral dissertations of  two PhD candidates,  GAO Feng-li and XIA Jing-yi, was successfully held at School of Materials Science & Engineering.

On October 24th, Professor E.W. "Bert" Meijer, an internationally renowned supramolecular chemist, Foreign Associate of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, and Distinguished Professor of Molecular Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology, was invited to deliver the 267th Master Lecture.
