| Prof. Chuan-liang Feng received his Ph.D. from the University of Twente (the Netherlands) in 2005 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz. In 2009, he joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Now he is a distinguished professor in School of Material Sciences and Engineering of SJTU. His research mainly focuses on the synthesis and characterization of chiral supramolecular hydrogels and biomimetic materials. He has made significant creative contributions to the design of chiral structures in supramolecular hydrogels, the development of novel self-assembly strategies, and the exploration of chirality-related biological effects. To date, he has published more than 190 papers, including in prestigious journals |
such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater. Adv. Funct. Mater., and holds more than 20 authorized patents. As the leading contributor, he has been honored with the Shanghai Natural Science Award (First Prize, 2022) and the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Materials Research Society (First Prize, 2024).
